OVERVIEW

This HQST solar panel kit will produce an average of 1 kWh of electricity per day (depending on sun availability). The HQST RV solar panel kit comes with most of the equipment required for an off-grid installation, including two 100 watt 9BB cell monocrystalline solar panels, 30A PWM solar charge controller, solar adaptor cables, tray cables, mounting Z brackets, and solar Y branch connectors, offering an easy one-stop purchase for you.

Built with sturdy materials, this solar kit will provide a reliable power supply system for all RVs, vans, cabins, boats, rooftops, solar power plants, and backup power systems.

Key Features

9BB Cells for Better Performance】Built with industry-leading 9-busbar technology, our solar panel can reduce the risk of microcracks and provide longer service life than a conventional 5-busbar design. 9BB cells can also reduce working temperature by around 2℃ to improve the solar panel kit's performance.

【Higher Efficiency, More Power Output】Grade A+ 166mm large monocrystalline cells offer a 21.5% conversion rate, and two 100 watt solar panels produce an average of 1 kWh of electricity per day (depending on sun availability). By bypassing the shaded cells with poor performance, the bypass diode minimizes the power drop caused by the shadow to ensure excellent performance in a low-light environment.

1.How many kWh a day does this solar panel kit produce?

When two solar panels of this kit are exposed to 5 hours of direct sunlight per day, it can provide an average of 800-1000 Watt-hours (0.8 kWh-1 kWh) of electricity (depending on sun availability).

2. How should I connect solar panels to my electrical circuit (series vs parallel)?

Solar panels can be connected in series or in parallel to meet your electrical circuit size and power demand. We recommend connecting solar panels with the same open-circuit voltage.
Connecting solar panels in series, the voltage (V) adds up, but the current (A) remains the same.
While connecting solar panels in parallel, the current (A) adds up, but the voltage (V) remains the same.

3. What type of battery bank system will this solar kit support?

This solar power kit comes with a 30A PWM solar charge controller, which supports 12V and 24V lithium iron phosphate and lead-acid (Flooded, GEL, AGM) battery banks. Does not support 36V or 48V battery banks.

4. How many items are included in this solar panel kit?

Our HQST solar kit includes 2x 100 watt solar panels, 1x 30A PWM solar charge controller, 1x pair of 20 ft 10 AWG solar panel to charge controller connector cables, 1x pair of 8 ft 10 AWG charge controller to battery connector cables, 2x sets of solar panel mounting Z brackets, and 1x pair of solar Y branch connectors.
