1.Can this 100 watt portable solar panel recharge my Jackery or Goal Zero power station?

Yes, as long as you have a compatible cable to connect the solar panel and your solar generator together. When you are going to charge a power station, you don't need to use the charge controller.

2. Is there any risk that the solar suitcase will overcharge my battery?

The included 30A PWM solar charge controller has built-in charging protection, which ensures that your battery is not overcharged. It also provides battery over-discharge, over-temperature, short-circuiting, and reverse polarity protection.

3. Does it come with a solar extension cable?

Yes, a 15 ft (4.5 m) Solar Connector Extension Cable and a 3 ft (0.9 m) Solar Connector to Alligator Clips Cable are included. This long enough solar extension cable allows you to put the portable solar panel under the sun to absorb power while your power station or battery is in your vehicle or campsite.

4. Does this solar panel support series and parallel connections?

Yes, it supports both series and parallel connections. When connecting the solar suitcases in parallel: the current output will add up while the voltage output will remain the same as a single solar suitcase.

When connecting the solar suitcases in series: the voltage output will add up while the current output will remain the same as a single solar suitcase.

When using multiple solar suitcases to charge your power station or battery banks, please check the supported input range of your device.

5. What factors influence solar conversion efficiency and power output?

The weather conditions, working environment temperature, shading or dust on the solar panel, and the direct sunlight angle.

6. Do I need to clean the solar panels?

Yes, it is recommended for better performance. Dust and dirt should first be swept off the panel surface using a soft brush. When the sweeping is complete, use a wet cloth to wipe the panel surface to remove any remaining dirt and grime.

7. Will rain damage this solar suitcase?

The integrated junction box and MC4 solar connector on this portable solar panel are IP65-rated waterproof. However, the 30A PWM charge controller cannot be used in the rain for long runs. Therefore, we recommend avoiding using this solar suitcase in the rain.
