No, you need to download the dedicated "ChargePro 2.0" app and pair it with the Bluetooth ID in the app.

2. Will it work with the controller that comes from other brands?
 
No, it's not compatible with other brands' solar charge controllers. It ONLY works with HQST MPPT controllers with a built-in Bluetooth.
3. Is it waterproof?
