1.Can this solar panel charge my car battery and lithium battery?
Yes, it can. When charging a car or lithium battery, you need to use a compatible solar charge controller and connecting cables.
2. Why can't a solar panel provide 100W of output power?
Rated 100W is the optimal test result under ideal lab conditions. The output power will vary based on sunlight, panel orientation, temperature, etc. To get a higher wattage, place the panel under direct sunlight at an appropriate angle, and avoid any shadows.
3. Once my device is full, what happens to the excess energy? Would that be a fire hazard?
The USB charging hub of our portable solar panel is built with multiple protection to protect your mobile device from over current, over voltage, and short circuit.
4. What can this solar panel charge?
1) Our portable solar panel can charge most solar generators with the included 4-in-1 solar adapter charging cable, such as Goal Zero Yeti, Jackery Explore, Anker, EcoFlow, Bluetti, and more.
2) It can also charge your mobile USB device, like a smartphone, drone, camera, or laptop, using the built-in USB ports.
Note: The panel does not store power, but it will charge devices directly when exposed to sunlight.
5. Can the solar panel work with only one panel opened?
We do not recommend getting the solar panel to work that way, or it will have nearly zero power output. For optimum performance, we recommend unfolding the entire solar panel, and placing it directly under sunlight, avoiding any shadows.
