Why Isn’t the LED Display Accurate?
Why Isn’t the LED Display Accurate?
If the LED display isn’t showing the correct readings, you can try calibrating it by following these steps:
1. Discharge the battery completely to 0%.
2. Use a compatible LiFePO4 battery charger or solar charge controller to fully charge the battery.
If the issue persists, please contact us at sales@myhqsolar.com for further assistance.
What are the charging voltage and charging current for this battery?
What are the charging voltage and charging current for this battery?
The max. charging voltage is 14.6V and the max. charging current is 50A. For optimal charging performance, we highly recommend adjusting the voltage to 14.2V-14.6V and using a 20A charger.
Does this 12V 100Ah battery offer low-temperature protection?
Does this 12V 100Ah battery offer low-temperature protection?
Yes. This battery features both low- and high-temperature protection. Charging automatically stops at 23–41°F (-5–5°C), while discharging stops at -13–5°F (-25–-15°C) in extreme cold. It also provides high-temperature protection, stopping charging at 140–158°F (60–70°C) and discharging at 158–176°F (70–80°C) to help protect the battery in hot conditions.
Does this battery have low voltage cut-off protection?
Does this battery have low voltage cut-off protection?
Yes, it does. When the discharge voltage is lower than 10V, the battery will shut off automatically.
Can I use my lead acid battery charger to charge the lithium battery?
Can I use my lead acid battery charger to charge the lithium battery?
We recommend using a lithium battery compatible AC to DC charger to charge LiFePO4 batteries, or else cause unreversible lifespan damage to the batteries. You can also charge these batteries using compatible solar charge controllers and solar panels.
Will the battery come with the terminals? And if not, what's the size of the connector terminals?
Will the battery come with the terminals? And if not, what's the size of the connector terminals?
Yes, it comes with two M8 screw terminals.
Can I charge the battery directly using a solar panel?
Can I charge the battery directly using a solar panel?
No, you should not connect the solar panel directly to the battery. When charging this battery with a solar panel, make sure to use a solar charge controller (either PWM or MPPT) between the panel and the battery. Directly connecting the panel to the battery could result in unstable solar power, which may damage your devices.
